OUR HISTORY

Previously known as JS Frozen Foods, Southern Crest Seafoods was founded in the early 1980s and quickly earned a name as a respected distributor of fresh and frozen seafood. In 1985, Stephen Gallus took on the role of Managing Director and JS Frozen Foods evolved into the major importer of seafood you know today, Southern Crest Seafoods.

Specialising in New Zealand fish, Stephen Gallus and the Southern Crest Seafoods team have built up strong relationships with respected New Zealand fisheries and global suppliers for over 30 years. We pride ourselves on these collaborative and loyal partnerships seen throughout the supply chain.
